How would you like to easily check each of your user’s Active Directory profiles to determine if data is missing or needs refreshing? And, then have the user notified so they can immediately update their own profile information? Profile validation allows an administrator to quickly and efficiently verify the connectivity of remote users across numerous shared devices, while automatically enforcing password profile enrollment policies tailored to your environment.

Think of it this way. Almost everyone has a cell phone, right? And there are multiple ways you can enter this data in your profile; with parentheses, commas, dashes, area codes, no area codes, country codes…you get the idea. If a user has not filled in that information, or has not entered it correctly based on your environment’s designated field requirements, then it can cause major problems.

Now imagine managing multiple, complex data on a much larger scale with numerous users.

Namescape’s ProfileValidator can be used with either rDirectory or myPassword (but not both at the same time). It will run on each user’s PC at logon and either require users to complete their profile before they can continue, or strongly “suggest” that the profile be updated and be reminded each time the user logs on.

Simple enough, right?

The ProfileValidator can also confirm that users have completed the “Questions and Answers” stored in their Password Reset Profile; then, require them to complete their profile updates before logging on, or remind them each time they logon until they complete it.

Most importantly, you can minimize logon delays with intuitive built-in mechanisms: verify connectivity to the domain prior to performing a scheduled check on user profiles; configure the frequency in which it checks the users’ profiles; and use it on shared PCs that treat each user independently.
